Perhaps after a frustrating day of trying to get your PC to do something, we all have a number of colourful words we could use (not repeated here) to name our PC! Name Your PC Day on the 20th November, is a bit of fun and invites everyone to foster a more personal connection with their devices that play such a significant role in our daily lives.
The occasion also highlights the progression of personal computing, tracing its journey from the massive 27-ton ENIAC, recognised as the first computer, to the contemporary, streamlined, and highly efficient devices we utilise today. It serves as a reminder of the technological innovations that have rendered modern PCs essential to our daily existence.
