Sustainable tech 4 Good – Tech 4 Inclusion

Tech 4 Inclusion

In the current digital age, competence in using digital devices is essential to operate and thrive. However, such devices are expensive and remain out of the reach of many families and individuals.

We focus on work with charities and not-for-profits, making affordable, sustainable and safe tech, plug-and-play ready, available to those most in need. We have both donated (7,494 devices to-date) via Tech 4 Inclusion and sold affordable refurbished devices (20K+) via Tech 4 Change.

We provide a solution by allowing businesses and organisations to have their devices securely data erased, while providing a revenue stream to fund their new IT hardware, or for their own Corporate Social Responsibility programmes. Their redundant tech gets a new life, safely repurposed into affordable, sustainable tech ready to help those in need.

“Referee was very happy with their new phone and it allows them to communicate with organisations, importantly, mental health organisations. He could previously not answer phone calls from others and this caused him a lot of stress and anxiety. He now has better communication with others and can get the mental health support he needs.”

Ela Guler

“The devices we receive are always good quality and much needed in the community”

  • The biggest barrier to sustainability isn’t cost. It’s the belief that it has to cost more.

Yesterday’s sustainability event reinforced something I’ve believed for a long time, sustainability doesn’t have to come at the expense of growth, efficiency, or commercial outcomes. Too often, organisations treat sustainability as another project to fund or another process to manage but when sustainability is built into how a business already operates, it stops being a…
